Abstract

Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright provides legal protection for intellectual works, including label designs in the fashion industry. This study aims to analyze the copyright protection of the label design for the "Sejauh Mata Memandang" brand and assess the effectiveness of its application in addressing allegations of plagiarism at the pre-litigation stage. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results indicate that the "Sejauh Mata Memandang" label design meets the requirements for copyright protection, but effective law enforcement at the pre-litigation stage still faces various obstacles.
